
2026 ICGB International Conference Successfully Concluded: Outstanding Student Research Achievements, AI-Focused Discussions, and International Collaboration Highlighted

The Global Business Program of Chinese Culture University recently hosted the “2026 ICGB International Conference on Global Business,” attracting scholars, students, and professionals from both Taiwan and abroad. The conference focused on important topics including global business, artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation, and sustainable development, demonstrating the program’s continued commitment to internationalization and English-medium education.

The opening ceremony featured remarks by Vice President Shu-Yin Wang of Chinese Culture University. In her speech, Vice President Wang emphasized that AI technologies are rapidly transforming global industries and business models, and that higher education institutions must actively respond to trends in digital transformation and interdisciplinary development. She also encouraged students to continue strengthening their global perspectives, cross-cultural communication skills, and AI-related competencies to enhance their future career competitiveness.

A total of 32 papers were presented at the conference, including contributions from international scholars from Malaysia and Saudi Arabia, as well as researchers from National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, National Chung Hsing University, National Taipei University of Technology, Ming Chuan University, and other institutions. Compared with previous years, the number of external and international participants increased significantly, reflecting the growing academic influence and international visibility of the conference.

In addition to paper presentations, the conference featured three keynote speeches focusing on AI-related developments in global business and finance. Mr. Mig Moreno, Deputy Secretary-Treasurer of the Asian Bankers Association (ABA), discussed the “AI Transformation of International Finance and Business Operations.” Dr. Jaesik Jeong, Assistant Professor from the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Tamkang University, introduced industrial applications and business opportunities related to humanoid robots and autonomous mobile robots. Prof. Sudhanshu Pandiya, Dean and Director of the School of Business Management at CSJM University in India, shared insights on opportunities, inequalities, and the future of global business in the AI era. |
During the conference, the College of International and Foreign Languages at Chinese Culture University also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CSJM University, India, further strengthening future cooperation in academic research, international exchange, and student collaboration.

One of the highlights of the conference was the outstanding research performance demonstrated by students from the Global Business Program. Four papers received the “Best Paper Award,” and all award recipients were students from the program, showcasing their strong academic research abilities and international competitiveness in English academic presentations.
The award-winning students included Vietnamese students Ha Thi Thu, Truong Thao Tram, and Vo Dang Yen Vy, as well as Indian student Sundaravadivel Sasikumar. Their research topics covered important global issues such as AI applications, green consumption, international service management, and sustainable supply chain management, reflecting students’ ability to integrate academic theory, industry trends, and international perspectives.

The Global Business Program stated that the conference not only highlighted students’ research achievements in AI applications, sustainability, consumer behavior, supply chain management, and international services, but also provided valuable opportunities for students to engage with scholars from different countries and academic backgrounds.
The program will continue to strengthen international academic cooperation and exchange opportunities in the future, encouraging more students to participate in international conferences and research presentations while cultivating globally competitive business professionals with strong cross-cultural capabilities.
