On 1st June, students from the Master Global Business Program participated in an educational industry visit to three distinguished organizations in Yilan: The Archipelago Hotel, Kuchen Kennwort Museum, and Agrioz Cafe. The visit was designed to provide students with practical exposure to business operations and management practices across the hospitality, food manufacturing, and tourism sectors.

At The Archipelago Hotel, students gained valuable insights into the management of a modern hospitality business, including service quality, customer experience, brand positioning, and sustainable tourism development. The visit highlighted the importance of innovation and operational excellence in creating a competitive advantage within the hospitality industry.

During the visit to Kuchen Kennwort Museum, students learned about the company’s approach to product development, quality control, and brand building. The experience demonstrated how a traditional food business can successfully combine innovation, marketing strategies, and cultural elements to strengthen its market presence and enhance customer engagement.

At Agrioz Cafe, students explored the integration of local agricultural products with tourism and cultural promotion. The visit provided an opportunity to understand how businesses can create unique value through product differentiation, experiential marketing, and the preservation of local heritage.

Throughout the trip, students were able to connect classroom knowledge with real-world business practices, gaining a deeper understanding of strategic management, marketing, customer relationship management, and sustainable business development. The experience also offered valuable perspectives on the challenges and opportunities faced by organizations in today’s dynamic business environment.
